Park City has always been
a family-oriented location. While the ski resorts are the anchors for children's
activities, Park City and its neighboring areas have almost unlimited opportunities
for children (and adults!) to have fun, learn new skills and make new friends.
Deer Valley Resort
The Deer Valley Resort's children's center (ages 2 months to 12 years)
is a state licensed facility providing supervision and activities for
non-skiing children. Children's Ski School programs start with age three
and are designed to accommodate all ability levels and deliver the best
in ski instruction and fun. Deer Valley's Summer Camp for kids is always
popular as well. Please click on Deer Valley's web site at www.deervalley.com
for complete information.
Park City Mountain Resort
In addition to a full range of winter activities, including the Park City
Mountain Resort Ski & Snowboard School, the resort features a full list
of summer activities including lift-served mountain biking and hiking,
the Alpine Slide, horseback riding and an 18-hole miniature golf course.
Visit the Park City Mountain Resort web site at www.parkcitymountain.com
for details and information on many other recreational activities for
children and adults.
The Canyons Resort
Kids Central at The Canyons is dedicated to meeting the needs of children.
Services include a fully licensed day care center for children 18 months
and older, ski and snowboard clinics for kids, and even a "skiers in diapers"
program which offers private instruction for toddlers 18 months to 3 years.
The Canyons also features the award-winning Perfect Kids children's programs.

Park City Visitor's Bureau
So many activities, so little time! The Park City Visitors Bureau's web
site at www.parkcityinfo.com
offers detailed information on the many area recreational and cultural
activities, including those targeted for children. Of particular interest
are the activities at the Utah Olympic Park and the winter and summer
programs offered by the Norwegian Outdoor Exploration Center.
